5/30/2024 - Fred and I were thinking he would be found guilty of 9 felonies today and perhaps the jury would let the other 25 felony counts slide (so to speak) because they have Donald Trump’s signature on 9 checks that were use to pay off Stephanie Clifford (also known as Stormy Daniels) and Karen McDougal. But the other 25 I think (as a non-lawyer) you could argue that maybe the prosecution didn’t prove that he’s directly responsible for those checks as well.

But then you go to what the jury was looking at when they were deliberating and it was all about David Pecker exposing (pun intended) the whole hush money scheme. As well as the Michael Cohen testimony that was corroborated by Pecker, and the phone call between Donald Trump and Michael Cohen and you know that Donald Trump was damn well behind this scheme, not just approved it, but with the checks you know that he personally financed it. And I think that’s how the jury got to 34 felony convictions of Mr. Trump, instead of the 9 that have his signatures on the checks.

So I believe for the jury it became about Mr. Pecker’s word and Mr. Cohen’s word, versus Mr Trump’s. And Mr. Trump didn’t even bother to testify and give his version of events to the jury. And the defense brought no one up who could contradict anything that Mr. Pecker and Mr. Cohen testified under oath.

7/14/2021 - Until a few months ago when I heard about NBC's crime drama Life that was on in the late 2000s, I had no idea who the hell Sarah Shahi was. And then I searched that show online where she played a police detective on it. And then I saw this YouTube video of her at a Dodgers game several years ago not just throwing out the first pitch in that game, but acting like she was a janitor who just one a million dollar lottery or something and leaps into the arms of the catcher that she just threw the pitch. 

So I'm thinking Sarah Shahi is not just a beautiful, sexy cop (on TV) but a beautiful, sexy Los Angeles Dodgers fan as well, who I'm sure the Dodgers players and perhaps fans as well look forward to seeing her at all of their home games.

8/05/2020 - I believe the best way for me to describe Mrs. Robinson (played by Hollywood Goddess Anne Bancroft) is that she plays a very lonely and unhappy woman stuck in a loveless marriage, or a marriage that just doesn't have any spark, but where the couple doesn't even sleep with each other anymore and doesn't socialize with each other anymore. And Benjamin Braddock (played by Dustin Hoffman) comes along (so to speak) who is somewhat lost, lonely, bored, and comes off as very inexperienced when it comes to romance (Mrs. Robinson thinks he's a virgin) and she sees him as an easy target and fling. 

Mrs. Robinson, isn't looking for a relationship with Ben, but perhaps what she would an innocent fling, a sexual partner to make her happy, especially when her husband is away. I guess she wants her husband's financial security and doesn't want to divorce him, but she wants Ben to make her happy emotionally and physically, to make her feel like an attractive woman again. And the first scene in this video is where she starts to try to seduce him, but Ben being like the little boy that he was gets scared and runs away. 

The scene in the hotel bar is pretty much what I'm talking about here. Ben decides that he would like to get involved with Mrs. Robinson: not like he's got a long line of woman, especially woman his age standing outside waiting to be with him and Mrs. Robinson is obviously a very attractive, beautiful, sexy woman, really cute with that sweet, sexy voice and face and decides to call her up from the hotel and to invite her to join him. She jumps at the opportunity like a dog would jump for food when you're about to feed him or her and meets him at the hotel bar.

I didn't realize how cute and beautiful Anne Bancroft was until I saw her in The Graduate ten years ago or so (thanks to TCM) and have now seen the movie probably 10 more times since and have it on DVD. She had a great face and voice especially when she's smiling and has one of the best naughty, up to no good looks that I've ever seen, as well as smirks that I've ever seen. People have said that she was overrated in The Graduate and that Mrs. Robinson wasn't as attractive and sexy as she was, but I don't think those understand this movie that well and perhaps just don't like Anne Bancroft to begin with.
